The Fox is within a couple of miles from RAF Honington. The church hall is where many of the scenes from Dad's Army were filmed. The series was filmed in Thetford, 7 miles from the Fox, and attracts many visitors to the Dad Army Museum as does the church hall. David Croft one of the writers of the series lived opposite the Fox until he died in 2011.
