Rich in heritage, Everards have been around since 1849 when founder, William Everard, purchased a brewery in the heart of Leicester. At the core of our incredible story is a proud tradition of progress and today, 170 years later, still independent and family owned, we are entering an exciting new chapter in our story and we are looking for business owners to join us!

Investing in pubs

We know pubs are at the heart of a community. A welcoming place to catch up and enjoy time with family, friends and neighbours, over good food and drink. Which is why we continue to invest in our 175-pub estate and are always on the lookout for opportunities to purchase new ones too.

Recent investments include an extension which houses a new commercial kitchen and spacious dining room at The Bull in Broughton Ashley, where diners can now enjoy a delicious meal looking out over a bubbling stream. Take a look.

We have also purchased a beautiful canalside pub in Northamptonshire and invested in an old bank in Trentham, Staffordshire as one of our innovative partnerships with Titanic Brewery. So whether you have an eye on one of our available pubs or have a space in mind that would be perfect to sell food and drink, do contact us for a chat.

Investing in our new home

Together with continued investment in pubs, we’re developing our new home at Everards Meadows. As well as our new brewery, offices and beer hall this will be a vibrant leisure and tourism destination which opens up 80 acres of green space to the public.

Everards Meadows will open later this month, and features Jenno’s Coffee House, a Rutland Cycling centre and cycling and pedestrian walkways to explore the site or further afield as it links to the national cycleway which stretches to Leicester City Centre and beyond.

Next summer will see the opening of our new home. This will feature a state of the art brewery which will brew a fantastic range of innovative beers exclusively to serve in Everards pubs, onsite in our vibrant beer hall and at our selected partners such as Leicester Tigers and Curve Theatre. Of course we will brew our iconic Tiger ale there too! The beer hall is the first of its kind in the area, a place where people can come and overlook both the brewery and green space while enjoying great food and drink.
