The Talbot Inn is a tastefully restored tap house on the main road in Ruyton X1 Towns. There is plenty of capacity for a strong pub style food offer at the site as well as hosting live music evenings and other events. Having excellent standards and the desire to embed themselves in the local community will be key. The successful applicant for the Talbot will have experience with both cask ales and hosting a great food offer. They will also need to be community-minded and have completed their PEAT course.
This site requires an operator with at least three years experience in the pub/leisure trade. They will need to have a keen eye for retail detail and experience with cask ales. The ability to work within the company's brand is imperative as are great team building and communication skills. The Brewery attracts people who are likeminded and care about their pub culture. People who treasure traditional, straightforward pub values and principles; real ale, real fires, real food, real hospitality.
Successful operators with the Brewery are relaxed pub professionals, executing proper pub standards, attentive and genuinely friendly service and who can also create a hub of sociability and banter. They are knowledgeable business people in their own right who can make a success of the tenanted model and agreement.
This consists of two bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen and bathroom.
