The Coach & Horses is located on the busy A57, Hyde Road in Denton which takes you through to Manchester City Centre just 6.4 miles away. Other transport links are close by, with the M60 and M67 just a stone’s throw away along with being on the main train route into Manchester. The centre of Denton is only a five minute walk away from the Coach & Horses with plenty of local shops, amenities and chimney pots creating a good flow of footfall.

On entering the Coach & Horses you go through a tiled hallway and are welcomed by the main bar servery located in the heart of the pub. To the right hand side, you will find a long room offering up space for dining, with a mixture of fixed and loose seating, along with equipment in the corner for live entertainment and DJ’s with the room doubling up as a dance floor at weekends. To the left on entry, there is the games room housing a pool table and darts board, along with a television for live sporting events, poser tables and bar stools. There is a snug area to the left of the bar, providing a more relaxed and cosy seating area with tables and doors opening out onto the beer garden.

The beer garden is a hard landscaped, easy maintenance patio with raised flower beds, external lighting, picnic benches and a covered smoking solution. There is also a little multicoloured gate which leads to an enclosed kids play area, with artificial grass and a playhouse. To the front of the pub there is limited parking, for four-five vehicles along with a raised decking area for further external seating.

Trading Style:

There is a solid rhythm of the week with events, music, DJ’s and quizzes along with supporting local sports teams with pool and darts. The current food offer is run daily 12pm – 6pm with a variety of dishes which have proven well on Trip Advisor and Facebook. There are a mixture of drinks to select from the bar, including cask ales, premium lagers, wines spirits and minerals.

The Coach is a local community pub in the heart of Denton. The business is well established and it is already very popular and a busy venue. The landlords are looking for a couple (ideally) who will fit in with the locals, who will promote the pub and the business through social media platforms. They MUST be hardworking, enthusiastic and be able to demonstrate good standards and be willing to join in pub events including team events.
