Trust Inns - Pub Recruitment Day in Newcastle-upon-Tyne

The Blue Star, formerly known as the Black & White Bull, is a vibrant pub located on Barrack Road in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Following a major refurbishment and rebranding in 2025, the pub has been transformed into a modern, colourful venue with a fresh identity and a renewed focus on the local community.

The refurbishment has created a distinctive and welcoming environment, with a contemporary style designed to appeal to a broad range of customers. Its Newcastle location, close to student accommodation and the city centre, offers an opportunity to attract a varied customer base.

The pub has an established connection with Newcastle and presents an opportunity to build on its refreshed identity, develop local trade and create a successful business with a strong community focus.
