This wet-led pub is filled with regulars most nights, and it is at the heart of village life –customers are a good mix of local workers and commuters. There are darts, cribbage, football teams, and council meetings, and lots of quiz nights for charities held in the pub. SKY and TNT Sports are very popular, showing football, rugby, cricket, darts, etc. There is currently a Thai food offer attached to the pub.
The opportunity is to continue to run it the same way whilst considering improving the food aspect of the business, particularly in the summer. The garden and external areas are largely under-utilised, and the opportunity to develop this area with events and covering is excellent.
