Forresters Arms

The Foresters Arms is situated five miles from the market town of Thirsk in North Yorkshire. It is located below the "White Horse" Monument and shares the village with the Mousey Thompson furniture factory and museum.

The pub is a characterful country inn and restaurant with 8 en-suite living bedrooms. This is a perfect location for guests who wish to experience the stunning ‘Horse on the Hill’ village. As you walk through the entrance, you will see the reception lounge with a counter and office facility, with comfortable seating and a working fireplace. The lounge bar features an impressive fireplace, loose tables, chairs, and stools, with Mouseman furniture as its special feature. There is a charming restaurant with exposed brickwork and a private dining area accommodating more than 40 covers. The breakfast room has French windows opening onto a decked terrace seating area, comfortably accommodating more than 20 covers. The trade kitchen is well equipped, and there are eight en-suite letting bedrooms, all in excellent condition, and a mixture of twin and double rooms with coffee and tea-making facilities.

There is seating available on the terrace to the front of the pub and a timber-decked seating area to the rear. Car parking is available by way of free public parking overlooking the village green.
