The Globe

The Globe is an imposing three story building situated on the marina Esplanade on Cowes waterside. The pub is visible from the water traffic coming into the harbour and with it outside decking and top deck dining area gives the impression of a place that someone would want to visit and spend time.

The pub has a large deck front area mainly laid out to booths with umbrellas, then internally there are two floors, the first floor is a more relaxed drinking area with low sofas and tables and quirky fixtures and fittings. There are toilets and an accessibility toilet on this level. There is also access to the ground floor cellar at the back of this trading area. The main bar is In the centre of this trading area with plenty of back bar advertising and merchandising space for wine and spirits and a full range of draught and cask ales. 

The upper floor is accessed via an internal staircase and is arranged as a dedicated dining space, making the most of its attractive views over the River Medina. This area features comfortable booth seating, along with a small balcony where guests can enjoy food and drinks outdoors in the sunshine. This level also includes customer toilet facilities and convenient access through to the kitchen.

Above this, the upper deck provides a standout external space, accessed via a further internal staircase. Finished with composite decking, planting, and stylish rattan furniture, it is a popular spot for drinks while taking in the views. This area also offers excellent potential for private hire, with what could be considered some of the best views in Cowes.

Throughout, the pub has been refurbished to a high standard, with quirky décor, wall coverings, and fittings that complement its nautical theme, perfectly reflecting its waterside location. Private Accommodation

There is no publican accommodation at the Globe, however there are two store rooms underneath the main deck floor and a small shower room so there is capability of a 'crash pad' if a manager or publican needed to stay overnight, however this is not a permanent residence.
