Lowton is a large and affluent village located between Warrington, Wigan and Leigh in the North West of England. It benefits from excellent transport links, particularly via the A580 East Lancashire Road, which provides easy access to Manchester and Liverpool, making the area popular with commuters

The landlord's vision for the Red Lion is to be the best local pub offering a great range of real ales and good value pub food where friends & families gather, new friendships are made and experiences shared. A true community pub at the centre of all that goes on in Lowton. You will show SKY & TNT Sports throughout the week, run quizzes and monthly entertainment, and in effect, have something for all ages and tastes.

The pub is divided into four main trading areas. As you enter the pub, you are greeted by the fantastic bar, and to the right is the pool room. The pub has comfortable seating to the left. Towards the rear of the pub is a dining area that can double as a private dining space and popular booth seating.
