Our Regional Events are designed for both experienced pub operators who want to know more about our agreement (no start-up costs, rent-free accommodation, uncapped earning potential) and individuals new to the industry, curious about what life is like as a pub operator.

You can book in for a dedicated 30-minute slot with both a Regional Manager and the Recruitment Team to discuss the application process and have all your questions answered.

The Jovial Monk is a medium-sized pub located on the busy high street of North Ormesby. This great pub is served by a large bar located in the main area, featuring plenty of TVs, gaming machines, and a range of comfortable seating options. This room leads into a medium-sized snug room, perfect for regulars to have a chilled pint while watching the horse racing or enjoying a date night. To the rear is a good-sized function room with separate toilets. Fully refurbished, this site has so much to offer. The site also benefits from a rear beer garden.

The pub prides itself on being sports-focused and is the place to be for horse racing and football, often drawing in big local crowds on match days. It has pool & darts teams, which bolster mid-week trade. Come the weekend, the Jovial is now the place to be on Friday nights, thanks to its well-known live DJs & Singers providing fabulous entertainment as well as the Friday Afternoon Club. As for Saturdays, we see a DJ pulling in a late-night crowd who dance the night away at the Jovial Monk.
