Live sport is a key driver, shown throughout the week across five internal screens, including an impressive 85-inch feature TV, with major events such as boxing drawing particularly strong crowds. The BDM is looking for someone who will continue to build on The Pineapple’s strong community foundations, providing a welcoming home for local sports teams and traditional pub games, including football, pool, darts, and dominoes. A key focus will be delivering a vibrant and varied entertainment programme, particularly at weekends, while also driving midweek trade through engaging activities such as bingo, quizzes, and racing clubs. Above all, the new operator must place the community at the centre of everything they do, maintaining The Pineapple’s position as a true local hub. Success in this role will require energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for hosting and promoting events that bring people together and cater to the needs of the local community.
