Restaurant/Dining
The Blue Stoops is located in the pleasant residential area of Walton on the Chesterfield Matlock Road, within minutes of passing the Stoops you are in the renowned Peak District. Equally, within 15 mins you are in the centre of Chesterfield, a long-standing market town and the largest town in Derbyshire, with excellent road and rail links.
On entering the main doors to the left is the restaurant dining area for 50 covers with mixed hardwood flooring and carpet and areas of upholstered fixed seating and good quality furnishings and home to the welcoming open fire much in demand in the colder months. To the right, a snug locals' tap room with accommodation for 30-40 drinkers with darts oche, both areas serviced from a central bar. The catering kitchen is to the rear of the building on the ground floor, with additional storage in the cellar area, and the beer cellar is underground with plenty of head height.
To the front, there is a covered veranda popular with locals and walkers, and to the rear, there is a beer garden with views of the Derbyshire countryside. There are outbuildings to the rear car park providing Licensee parking and log storage.
Car parking is available both at the front and rear of the pub.
The private accommodation consists of three bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom, all above the trading area - the office is off the trading area on the ground floor.
