The Kings Arms is a 20-minute drive from Glastonbury and 10 minutes from Shepton Mallet.
Inside, you will find a characterful, warm and welcoming pub with great home-cooked food and great wine, lager and cask ales all at excellent prices. With three trading areas made up of a cosy bar area and two areas ideal for those wanting to enjoy a great Sunday lunch. The bar with approximately 22 covers featuring a mix of beams, stone, wood, and panelling, leads up to a raised area with 20 covers and then onto an area used previously as a breakfast, function, and tearoom with 16 covers. The pub benefits from three well-appointed letting rooms.

The successful applicant(s) will be outgoing, lively, personable, enthusiastic, and driven, and will be as passionate as the landlords are about creating something special within the community. They will need a proven track record in operating successful community pubs with great traditional pub food and letting rooms.
Skilled at utilising social media, maximising footfall, booking live artists/bands, creating promotional/marketing plans, developing a food offering, and establishing a strong position within the community, all whilst developing/leading a small but great in-house team.
A personal licence is required alongside exceptional standards and some experience with real ale, current trends. The Kings Arms has many facets to the business; the next operators will ideally have experience running a similar business and have the knowledge and experience to maximise every opportunity.
