The Hatfield Tap is situated in the middle of a residential area with a predominantly student population next to Hatfield University and on the outskirts of Hatfield town centre. Hatfield itself is located an hour’s drive north of London in Hertfordshire, with good train links into the city via Farringdon.
The pub is a two-bar operation with a large open plan main bar comprising four large screens, two pool tables, a dart board and various other games. It has a mixture of soft and hard and soft furnishings with external seating to the front of the building. The second bar is in a 220-capacity separate function room utilised for private parties and events, with its own separate access. It also has a large catering kitchen which contains all the essential equipment to deliver a varied menu.
The private accommodation consists of a three-bedroom staff flat, a General Manager’s separate flat with a garden and an Assistant Manager’s flat. Both the GM and AM flats have their own separate access.
