Chequers Inn is operated by a single bar which is situated to the left as you enter the pub. There is capacity to hold seating for around 50 people with a mixture of loose and fixed seating. The internal trading areas are decorated with beautiful features such as traditional ceiling beams and exposed brick walls. The trading areas are light and airy, along with modern colour schemes these areas create a warm and homely feel to the pub.
Externally, the front of the pub opens directly onto Corn Street allowing an opportunity to appeal to passing trade. Additionally, to the rear of the pub, there is a small patio area offering seating for approximately 20 people. This area has the potential to be developed and become a major asset to the business, especially during the warmer months.
The private accommodation is reached by stairs from the rear of the property. There are two bedrooms. One, in the eaves of the building, is 20' x 10'. The other is 15' x 15' approximately. The is a lounge area measuring approximately 20' x 20', a bathroom and a domestic kitchen area.
