The Old Pier Tavern is based in Burnham-on-Sea, a large and very popular seaside town in Somerset, England, at the mouth of the River Parrett, upon Bridgwater Bay, boasting over 20 holiday parks in the area, including Pontins and Haven. Pier Street is the main arterial route from the town to the beach having considerable foot traffic. The venue is a matter of meters from the beach, overlooking the sea.

Established in 1840, the venue has a long tradition of being a pub and a great live music venue, boasting the landlord's believe one of the largest stages and dance floors in the area, accommodating live performances. The venue has a late weekend licence, enabling the venue to cater to a wide variety of performances.

The venue is free of tie, allowing the venue to offer wider and often locally sourced beverages such as real Somerset cider!!

The venue is approximately 2300 square feet, with all certificates up to date, including gas, electrical, emergency lighting, burglar, and fire alarms. A relatively new Python system has not long been installed. The venue consists of a cellar, CCTV room/store, office, kitchen Area, further store, a small further store, ladies’ toilets (4 Cubicles), gentleman’s toilets (2 cubicles and 3 urinals), DJ’s booth, stage and dance floor and parking area for one vehicle at the back. The pub also has a kitchen area, and part of the dance floor could easily be used to accommodate covers. Depending on how much of the dance floor you would like to use, there could easily be approximately 60+ covers. There is a pool area, and darts can easily be incorporated.

There is a smoking area outside and disabled access via a ramp. The premises have recently undergone a refurbishment. Opposite the pub is a very large car park, which is free after 6 pm.

Above the venue is an HMO, so if accommodation was required, this could be negotiated with the owner of the HMO.
