The Old Pier Tavern is based in Burnham-on-Sea, a large and very popular seaside town in Somerset, England, at the mouth of the River Parrett, upon Bridgwater Bay, boasting over 20-holiday parks in the area, including Pontins and Haven. Pier street being the main arterial route from the town to the beach having considerable foot traffic. The venue is a matter of meters from the beach, overlooking the sea.

Established in 1840 the venue has a long tradition of being a pub, but also a great live music venue, boasting one of the largest stages and dance floors in the area; usually every weekend there are live performances, from Rock ‘n’ Roll to Drum and bass, to battle of the bands, etc. The venue has had a 2.30 am licence on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays which enables the venue to cater for a wide variety of performances.

The venue is approximately 1850 square feet, with all certificates up to date, including gas, electrical, PAT testing, burglar and fire alarms. A brand-new python system has also been installed. The venue consists of a cellar, CCTV room/store, office, commercial kitchen, further store, a small further store, ladies’ toilets (4 Cubicles), gentleman’s toilets (2 cubicles and 3 urinals) a restaurant area, stage and dance floor and parking area for one vehicle at the back.
