The landlords are looking for someone who will run Station Inn as a family-friendly local restaurant/pub, making good value quality food that will appeal to the holiday customers in the neighbouring park and to the wider local community. This could be based on traditional English food but could equally work well as an overseas food theme such as an Italian, Thai, or Chinese-type restaurant. To thrive (especially outside of the busier summer months), the restaurant would ideally need a takeaway service.
The new operator will have a good level of experience running previous bars/restaurants, as they would be expected to manage all aspects of the restaurant business by themselves, as the pub is not part of a restaurant or pub chain. They also ideally have a good understanding of how to use social media to market the restaurant both to the caravan park customers and the local community.
