Experienced Operator
Trading style
The pub is the perfect example of a real ‘Hub of the Community’ style operation. From having a drink with friends in the bar to watching live artists or a big match, it is a REAL community pub ensuring every individual living nearby has a reason to visit. The landlords want all existing and potential customers to feel part of what is a busy, thriving gem of the community and to enjoy the pub for all occasions. The pub will need to trade with a successful rhythm of the week, including live sports, pub teams, entertainment, and a good quality home-cooked food offering.
The successful applicant(s) will be outgoing, lively, personable, enthusiastic, and driven and will be as passionate as the landlords are about creating something special within the community. They will need a proven track record in operating successful community pubs and running events, utilising social media, maximising footfall for sporting events, booking live artists/bands, creating promotional/marketing plans, developing a food offering, and establishing a strong position within the community all whilst developing/leading a great in-house team.
A personal licence is required alongside exceptional standards and some experience with real ale, current trends (gin, craft ale, lager, wines, and cider), and organising events such as family fun days and beer/cider festivals.
