The Earl of Chatham is located in Woolwich town centre and has a rich history of late-night trading. During the day, the pub is filled with regular customers in the main front bar, whilst in the evening, the rear bar area hosts regular weekly entertainment and nightlife activity, which you can capitalise on earnings due to it being a 350-capacity venue. The business has a late licence on Thursdays until 3am and until 4am on Fridays & Saturdays. The Earl has a second floor for the toilets and a cloak room, which is ready to use for events.
The rear bar area is very large with a raised platform with multiple seating booths. A tiled chequered floor makes for a dancefloor to host nightlife activity with a DJ point plus excellent speakers and effects lighting, smoke machines and multiple TV screens.
Both bars are connected but are separated by double doors with an outdoor drinking/smoking area, which is to the side of the business, partially covered, and has multiple heating units and festoon lighting.
The Earl is famous for its weekend nightlife, which makes up the bulk of the trading income. There is a till system at the front entrance to charge admission at weekends, to which the operator is entitled to 20% of the earnings.
The accommodation is huge with five bedrooms, a large lounge, a large kitchen and a separate bathroom. The office is located on the first floor with a spare bedroom next door. The main living accommodation is on the 2nd floor with a large landing area with four bedrooms branching off.
There is no parking at the site.
