The town of Ashton-under-Lyne is in Tameside, with its main council offices, art gallery, museums, and hospital as well as a popular market and shopping centre. On its fringes is the village of Mossley, surrounded by hills and the landmark Hartshead Pike. Ashton is a popular market town yet only 6 miles east of Manchester and it has great transport links.
The Prince of Orange is situated on a busy crossroads in the centre of Ashton. The red brick Victoriana building is decorated with eye-catching signage. The main entrance opens into a bar area with a separate cosy snug all served by a single bar. To the rear of the bar, you will find the games room with a pool table and foosball table. There are TVs situated throughout the pub, perfect for showing Sky and TNT sports. Live entertainment is a huge pull in the Prince; there is a designated area where acts can perform.
To the rear is Ashton’s best-kept secret, a fantastic, well-kept beer patio/terrace. There is no dedicated car park but there is lots of parking close by.
