The Queens Head is a substantial character building with origins dating back to the 18th century; it was a former blacksmith's, before becoming the village pub. It has been in the same ownership since 199,5, during which time the building has been carefully restored, both externally and internally, with several later additions to the original features. The trading areas still retain the exposed beams, flagstone flooring and fireplaces. The catering kitchen has more than doubled in size, ze having been extended and upgraded with new equipment in more recent years. The pub has built its reputation on traditional home-cooked pub food and has a very established trade; this is an ideal opportunity for someone to inherit this successful and profitable business.
