Farmers Union

The Farmers Union is a large, obvious property situated in a great location just outside of Exeter City Centre and close to Exeter University, Exeter College and student accommodation. It is positioned in easy access of Exeter St David's and Exeter Central Stations and is on route from both the college and university to the city centre. This pub has a traditional/contemporary feel with the bar counter situated at the back of the pub on the ground floor. The table and chairs are well laid out to create a casual dining feel, with an attractive fireplace adding some character. The fully equipped kitchen is to the right of the bar counter, easily accessible to the customer areas. The business also benefits from tables and chairs outside at the front of the pub and a small patio area at the back of the pub. Although the pub does not have its own car park, there is an NCP directly opposite.

The pub is a one-bar operation with the bar situated at the back of the pub on the ground floor. The tables and chairs are well presented to create a casual dining area with an attractive fireplace, adding some character and offering a warm welcome in colder months. There is a fully equipped trade kitchen to the right of the bar servery, easily accessible for the customer areas. There is a carvery unit located on one side at the rear of the pub, which is used to service multiple covers on a Sunday. A pool table is normally in use, but this has been removed for the time being in order to create more seating for customers. There are also 12 well-appointed en-suite letting bedrooms on the first and second floors that sleep up to four people – these are popular with both contractors and the visiting families of students.

There is a reasonably sized patio area to the front and back of the pub with 14 tables in total. A Pay and Display car park is situated immediately opposite The Farmers Union, with space for approximately 30 vehicles.

There are a couple of rooms upstairs that are currently used for private accommodation, and both are appointed with en-suite bathrooms.
