The Rising Sun Country pub is located on Station Road, just a few steps away from the Scholar Green Canal Boat Moorings on the Macclesfield Canal, Cheshire. Approx. 6 miles east of Crewe and surrounded by fields, and a short distance from national trust properties such as Little Moreton Hall and Ramsdell Hall, about 1 mile north of the pub.
The building is traditional but well presented. The trading area is an open plan with defined drinking and eating areas. Whilst food led, the pub maintains a traditional pub drinking trade and offers pub sports & occasional live entertainment.
Externally, there is also an external patio/drinking area to the front and side of the pub.
The private accommodation is large, comfortable, and fairly modern, directly above the pub. The entrance is through the kitchen / BOH area of the pub. There are 3 good double bedrooms, a small study area off the living room. There is a small kitchen and bathroom at the other end of the PQ. With the pub office in the middle of the upstairs area.
