Day to day, the Smugglers operates with the community locals and pub sports at the very centre of everything that it does. Its hugely popular games room, which also doubles up as a private event room, is home to two weekly pool and a darts team and the resident bat & trap team meet and play on a monthly basis. Live music and seasonal events prove popular with the locals and owing to its great central location, the Smugglers also hosts a high volume of private events, parties and after funeral gatherings. The Smugglers has recently launched a simple but quality food offer, with a menu focused on freshly cooked, classic pub dishes and a traditional Sunday lunch, the food offer is growing in popularity and sales and it continues to receive great reviews and attendance from both locals and customers from the surrounding area.
