The Swan & Dog currently operates seven days a week from noon onwards, hosting both their longstanding, loyal local customer base from within Great Chart and the surrounding villages, together with destination dining customers and those passing by the area. Occasional events, quizzes, and themed food evenings are well attended by the locals, and the daily menu boasts a range of traditional pub favourites, ever-popular Mexican dishes, and, of course, a first-rate, sell-out Sunday lunch. Owing to its extensive outdoor space, the site is very weather dependent with a stronger summer trade, and it is the go-to spot for a range of private parties, events, and gatherings in the area.
