The premises are licensed from 9 am, presenting a clear opportunity to grow daytime trade through earlier opening and targeted offers. While there are currently no resident sporting teams, there are incentives in place to attract both darts and pool teams, along with opportunities to sponsor and support other local teams. The venue already enjoys a solid sports-led following, which could be further developed to firmly establish it as the place to watch live sport in Wigan town centre.
The pub already has a great following of loyal daytime customers that come in for racing, sports and mid-week entertainment, with the current Wednesday acoustic session the highlight of the week.
